HSSR features: MONTE GRANT, 11y.o. Surfer Chasing the Dream
We go to magic isle to shoot a surf contest and meet up with Monte Grant, an 11 year old surfer from the n.shore of Maui. He is competing in the Hawaii State Championships of surfing in the "11 & Under Division". Brought to you by the Hard rock Cafe and Skull Candy. If Monte can place in the final heat he will advance to nationals and the USA Surfing Championship. The potential here is great for Monte because give his success perhaps he will gain financial sponsorship so he can surf the surf circuit in the future.
Currently Monte Grant is sticker sponsored by No Fear. If you are looking to sponsor a young up-coming surfer, remember MONTE GRANT
.... to get in touch with Monte and his Coach....aka Monte's mom.

HSSR 272 Pyramid Rock
This episode was shot way back in 2008 and the music was given to me
in
2008 as well. The break is Pyramid Rock, it's located on the
Kaneohe
Marine Corp Base. Needless to say its not an every day break open
to
the everyday public. However this civilian here was lucky enough
to
know a friend who knows a friend who is a marine and his a
friend's
girlfriend had a car with all the legal paperwork together to get
us
through the gate. Once through the KMCB Gate we hit the desolate
and
wide beach which hosts a few good breaks.
