Trying to get a parking spot at Sandy Beach Park on a Sunday is no easy task, especially when its summer vacation and the waves are cranking. But using the Gaupp-Method i found a spot for us to park and spend a few minutes on the beach, snag a sunburn and shooting the shore break and the daring souls who ride them.

HSSR Memorial Day 2010 Surf Session

This morning on Memorial Day we take a stroll down to the waterside of queens beach in waikiki. As the city wakes up the dawn patrol is in full action catching waves for us to watch the surf upon as we day dream and take time to remember armed service members, friends and loved ones who have served their country and paid the ultimate price. If you take time to thank a soldier you'll be spreading the stoke.
