Hi. Gov. Executive order surfing reserves PDF Print E-mail

For the first time since she took office Governor Linda Lingle used an executive order to resurrect a bill that died during a legislative session. 

Executive order 10-07 creates two surfing reserves, from the Waikiki Natatorium to the Ala Wai Canal on the Oahu’s South Shore and from Haleiwa to Sunset Beach on the North Shore.

TSUNAMI UPDATE: Store Shelfs are Clearing out PDF Print E-mail

This is a slideshow of the craziness surrounding Hawaii Kai in expectation of the tsunami, which is predicted to hit at 11:17 a.m. HWST

Things are crazy here. The grocery store here in Hawaii Kai was packed with last minute survivalist, me included, just got back from safeway. lots of people, lines wraping all the way around the perimiter, water - gone, rice- gone, spam i got some YES! Sirens are sounding off waikiki Dennys evacuated at 5 am. There are lines for gas. I took a few pictures, i will post asap. Stay tuned and stay stoked!

 
Breaking: Tsunami Warning for Hawaiian Islands PDF Print E-mail

After an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile. The Pacific region and all hawaiian island are on tsunami warnings watches and advisories. People are stocking up at the store.  As my brother says, "its not the initial hit, its the aftermath."
